The earlier, the better! Many families hire me during their second trimester, but I've supported families who reached out just weeks before their due date. Early hiring allows more time for relationship building and comprehensive birth planning, but it's never too late to get support.
I'm here to support both of you. I help your partner feel confident in their support role and provide them with comfort techniques and encouragement. Many partners tell me they felt more relaxed and present because they knew I was there to guide them.
Life is unpredictable, especially with babies! My Full-Service Birth Package includes on-call availability from 38-42 weeks for this reason. If you need to reschedule other services, I work with families to find solutions that work for everyone.

Midwives provide medical care and deliver babies. Doulas provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support but don't perform medical procedures. We work together as part of your birth team, each bringing unique and valuable skills.
